Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser

About 6 months ago Birchbox gave their subscribers a sample of cult beauty product Liz Earle's Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser. I immediately ditched my normal cleanser and started using Cleanse and Polish, hoping to find out what the fuss was about.

I've found every time I buy Cleanse and Polish I receive one or two 100% muslin cloths. This is the "hot cloth" that assists in the cleansing and polishing! A 100ml tube will last me around 2 months. One pump releases enough cleanser for your face and neck and each pump is measured evenly so there's no waste. You literally use every last drop in the bottle.

Application is easy. One pump of the bottle and apply the cleanser to dry skin. I like to massage it in for maximum cleansing to lift as much dirt, grime and make-up from my pores as possible. Then you run your muslin cloth under hand-hot water and rinse. Gently polish the cleanser away, using a clean section of the cloth each time. Once you've done that, splash your face with cold water to close your pores and voilĂ ! Beautifully cleansed and polished skin!

I much prefer using Cleanse and Polish than any other cleanser. Previous products I've used had a lot of soap in them, which leaves my skin quite dry after cleansing. As Cocoa Butter is a main ingredient, Cleanse and Polish leaves skin hydrated and radiant, It really does de-clog pores, so I've had less break-outs in recent months. It's also perfect for creating a clean canvas for make-up too as it leaves skin incredibly soft and smooth.

I'm absolutely in love with this product and I couldn't rave about it more! I definitely feel that my skin is much healthier and more radient since I've switched to Cleanse and Polish, and unless there is some super duper miracle product that gets released that promises to eradicate spots before they even happen, then I'm definitely not switching back to anything else.

No wonder Liz Earle has won hundreds of awards. Cleanse and Polish is absolutely flawless (and now so is my skin...almost)!

NYR Organic Beauty Boost Capsules

I've recently started looking after my body more, be it going to the gym, eating healthier, drinking more green tea and water and using only the best beauty products! I later discovered Neil's Yard Remedies Beauty Boost Supplements, which have helped boost these results! Now I wouldn't normally take something like this just to look good, but here's why I chose to try these...

They are full of healthy, natural ingredients!
NYR's Beauty Boost supplements contain natural ingredients, including frankincense, vitamin c, MSM, pine bark extract, zinc and other healthy minerals!

They are good for your skin, hair and nails!
Beauty Boost supplements help to promote collagen formation, the protein that is needed to strengthen your hair, nails and skin. The combination of vitamins and minerals make you feel revitalised and are good for your immune system as well as being good for your skin. Essentially, these tablets help keep your hair, skin and nails healthy and that's exactly what they do!

In my opinion
I've been on these tablets for around 3 weeks now and I can certainly say I've seen a difference. I've found my nails are no longer breaking, thus making them grow rapidly in length. The same goes for my hair, it's much healthier and thicker, with less damaged ends than I had before. Again, this has helped my hair grow really quickly and it makes me feel much more confident with myself. My skin is clearing up, slowly but surely, with a few outbreaks but for me that's common! I've started gaining more energy and motivation to do things, like going to the gym, which in turn is helping my lose weight and tone up! These tablets have given me the boost of confidence I've needed for a long time, and I feel 100 times better since taking these.

These tablets are only £17.50 for 60 capsules, which last 30 days. For the health benefits and results I've already seen I believe it is great value for money! I'll definitely be purchasing another pot!

You can purchase your own Beauty Boost Supplements here!

My Autumn Footwear Picks

1. Lace Up Cut Out Peeptoe Heels - New Look - £24.99
2. Miss KG Honest Heels - Kurt Geiger - £80
3. Millie Strapped Heel Sandals - Vivienne Westwood - £227
4. Leigh Ankle Boots - Supertrash - £215
5. Total Stud Platform Sandals - Forever 21 - £32.75

Autumn is approaching which means storing away our summer sandals until next year and bringing out the booties. For Autumn I like to stick with dark colours, especially with shoes. I've been thinking of what shoes I could bring into my wardrobe this year and found these babies. From high end to high street, I'm loving the strappy and asymmetrical designs this fall. I'm one for detail, and I especially love the orange accent on the Kurt Geiger heels. My particular favourite pair are the Vivienne Westwood sandals, which would look fantastic with a pair of ripped boyfriend jeans and a white jacket. I love studs, especially when I'm feeling edgy, so the Forever 21 platforms would go perfect with a leather jacket. I'd team the New Look peeptoes with a skater skirt, tucked in shirt and a beige Mac. Even a simple zip caught my eye; these Supertrash booties would look great with a pair of skinny trousers for work.

I might need to do a little saving, or look for some dupes, but I've totally fallen in love with these beauties!

Benefit Cosmetics The Real Steal They're Real Kit

Anyone who knows me has heard me rave about Benefit Cosmetics' They're Real mascara at least once in their company. I've recommended it to most of the ladies I know and take every opportunity I can to buy a beauty box when a sample is on offer. So when Benefit released They're Real Eyeliner and makeup remover I was over the moon! To top that, Benefit Cosmetics released a set a few weeks after the launch called The Real Steal, which featured not only the mascara and eyeliner, but a sachet of the They're Real Eyemakeup remover, AND free delivery, for only £19.50. Considering the mascara on it's own is the same price, it definitely is a steal!

They're Real Mascara (£19.50)
This mascara, as you know, is one of my favourite beauty products of all time. A lot of people compliment me on my lashes and are left completely in awe when I tell them they aren't false lashes; They're Real! I love the texture, the ease of application, the volume once applied and the longevity of the product. The wand is made from plastic, which feels a lot different to using a normal mascara brush, but it makes application much easier and allows the lashes to separate easily. Only one or two coats are needed for full length, thick lashes. The tiny brushes on the tip of the wand allow you to apply a small amount of mascara to the lower lashes so not to look too fake, and I also use this technique on the outer corners of my eye to lengthen my already-coated lashes for a "cat-eye" look. My only issue is that the mascara is very difficult to remove but as long as you have a decent eye-make-up remover it isn't an issue.  One full size mascara will last me 6-8 months, and a sample size will last me 2-3 months before drying out. Considering the cost of some full size mascaras that only last a few months, They're Real is definitely worth £19.50.

They're Real Mini Push-Up Eyeliner (£18.50)
The They're Real Eyeliner took me a little time to work out how to use, but once a grasped that, I was so impressed! The eyeliner is pushed up by twisting the bottom of the pen, and a small amount of gel liner appears out of the top of the slanted rubber applicator. The pen applies a thick, matte black gel which doesn't lose it's definition throughout the day. It's also waterproof, so it's longlasting and a decent eyemakeup remover is needed! The rubber applicator bends to the lash line for extra precision, but be wary that it doesn't protect 100% from slips and you can still make mistakes! However, the first time I used this I didn't make a single mistake and found it much easier to apply than a felt-tip liner. It's perfect to slip in your handbag to for touch-ups as it's so small and compact, and there is no need for a brush for application.

They're Real Remover (£14.50)
After quite a few complaints and poor reviews stating that the mascara was incredibly difficult to remove, Benefit came up with the They're Real Remover. I received a small sachet of this with the kit and used this when I was wearing both the mascara and the eyeliner. The remover has a creamy consistency and is suitable for my sensitive skin. I massaged it onto my eyes and swiped it off with a cotton pad. I was surprised at how much came off! I repeated this a couple of times to make sure everything was removed. As well as being make-up free, my skin felt very soft and hydrated, as if it was also acting as a moisturiser. This is definitely a great fix for a stubborn, yet irresistible, product

This kit is fantastic value for money overall and is a great opportunity for everyone to try out the new They're Real products before committing to buying the full sized versions. I recommend anyone who is going out to buy the mascara to stop and order this instead. Plus, order from Benefit Cosmetics and receive two free samples of your choice!

Have you tried anything from the They're Real collection? What were your thoughts?

Mini Boots Haul

Today after I woke from a well deserved lie-in, I felt fresh, healthy and pretty, which is incredibly rare for me. I did a spot of cleaning and did my hair and make-up all nice, which is also rare for me! With nothing to do I decided to take a trip to my local boots and pick up a Costa (mango and passion fruit cooler, UNF!). I had no intention of buying anything, but I walked out £25 poorer, whoops!

Olay Essentials Beauty Fluid - £4.99
I recently ran out of this moisturiser and have neglected my skin recently by applying make-up without it. This is by far my favourite moisturiser, I've been using it since I was probably about 7 years old, after my mum told me it would be good for my skin. She has been using it since she was a teen, and her mum also uses it frequently, and both have incredible skin! I thought I'd pick up a bottle and start giving my skin some TCL again. (Full review of Olay Beauty Fluid here!)

Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Deep Nourishing Intensive Mask - £4.79
I saw a tub of this mask in my house the other day and it turns out my mum's been using it. Recently her hair looks flawless and she doesn't do anything to it, but apply this mask when she washes. I do like to copy my mum so I picked up a tub for myself. This mask is suitable for dry/damaged hair, perfect for me! It smells absolutely divine, I can't wait to use it tonight!

V05 Heat Protect Spray - £3.89
I've been using a cheap Wilkios heat spray recently and it has done wonders to my hair. It helps detangle and protect my hair from my GHDs, but I've completely run out! At a recent trip to the hairdressers I was told to use a lot of spray to protect your hair as much as possible, meaning I'm going through bottles like anything. I thought I'd try a high street brand this time to see if it works better. I've heard wonders about this spray and I love V05 Shampoos and Conditioners, so I figured this was bound to help protect my locks. Growing my hair in the past has proven a nightmare, but treating my hair right and keeping it moisturised is greatly reducing split ends and my hair is growing so fast!

Tangle Teezer - £10.99
Eek! I nearly fainted at the price, but no doubt it's worth it! I've seen a thousand positive reviews about Tangle Teezers in that it helps reduce split ends whilst brushing, again something I need to help keep my hair growing. It may be a little more than what I'd normally spend on a hair brush, but if it lives up to it's expectations I won't complain! I have just tried it on my incredibly knotty hair and it flowed through effortlessly, leaving me with untangled hair and the style didn't fall out. Fantastic!

I'm sure I'll review the last 3 products soon. Pray for me that they will help my hair stay sleek and shiny, and grow at a rapid rate!

Ginvera Green Tea Jade Dark Eye Circle Roll Away Review

I've never been one for eye cream; I never really felt the need to use one until recently. I have received a lot of eye products from beauty boxes over the past few months and have tried a few out, but none have given me quite the effect that I expected. That is until I started using this beauty.

The Ginvera Green Tea Jade Dark Eye Circles Roll Away (that's a mouthful!) claims to brighten eyes, firm eye contours and prevent eye bags, crows feet and fine lines. Just what I needed.

I first started using this as I started working out and doing longer car journeys to take my boyfriend to work before taking myself. Driving makes me incredibly tired and with going to the gym and trying to go to bed at the same time as normal I was waking up with puffy, dark circles under my eyes. I looked like I had been crying! The other eye creams weren't working too well for me so I started using this eye roller. What a difference it has made!

I apply this at night before I go to sleep, rolling it under my eyes  and sometimes going up to the lids. I gently pat it into my skin with my fingers and leave to dry. When I wake up in the mornings I find my eyes look more awake, less puffy and brighter in colour. My eyes no longer feel like I have been crying and any soreness I feel under my eyes, being from lack of sleep or using a product that sets off the sensitivity of my skin, is instantly cooled. Occasionally I will use this in the mornings too, especially if I forget to put it on the night before! It gives my tired eyes a healthy glow, whilst working overtime to tackle my eye bags and puffy skin. This glow even makes my face look contoured, without wearing any make-up!

The formula is made out of Jade, which contains healthy minerals, Green Tea, which hydrates and reduces wrinkles and redness, and Ginseng, which include antioxidants to heal damaged and ageing skin. It is a water based formula as opposed to creamy and is unscented, so it absorbs into your skin almost instantly.

This roller has given me the confidence to wake up before work and not apply make-up. Before I'd cake myself in make-up, just so I didn't get comments like "Are you ok? You look shattered". Now I can walk into work bright eyed and looking well slept.

I can definitely say that the skin under my eyes has become more firm over time with this. Although I don't have any wrinkles just yet (god bless), I have a feeling that this would definitely help reduce the look of them, and hopefully delay the ageing process. I have no intention to stop using this product based on this hypothesis.

This roller pen puts the beauty in "beauty sleep". I don't think I'll ever be without it. Ginvera is one of the only brands I trust to do what it says on the tin. The Jade Dark Eye Circle Roll Away pen is no exception.

If you haven't already, read my Ginvera reviews!

My new MAC Babies - Creme Cup, Heroine and Morange

Left to Right: Creme Cup - Heroine - Morange

I've lost count of how many MAC lipsticks I have now. My collection is rapidly growing and my bank balance is rapidly decreasing...

After asking the Twittersphere their opinion on which lipstick to buy next, it was clear that Creme Cup and Heronie were the ones to go for (plus if I bought both online I got free postage. Win-win!).

Creme Cup is probably my favourite lipstick out of my entire collection. I've heard other bloggers rave about it but didn't think anything of it; it looked quite plain to me. Once I tried it I was in love! It's such a pretty, subtle shade. I can where a lot of makeup or next to no makeup and it would suit any look. I've worn this lipstick down more than any of the others, and I've only had it a few weeks!

Heroine may be a little too out there for me at the moment, but it might come in useful come Autumn/ Winter, when dark lipstick is more acceptable and my wardrobe is of a darker hue. Heroine is definitely brighter than Up The Amp, which makes it a much more daring colour! I really do love it, but I just don't have the confidence to wear it out at the moment!

Morange is my newest shade, but I'm yet to try it. I've seen this on a few beauty blogs and fell in love with it, so I picked it up in Selfridge's last week. I love the red/orange mix, it makes it stand out from all the other reds on offer. I might wear it for the first time to London tomorrow...

No doubt that while I'm in London I'll pick up another one.

Whoops.

Business Trip Essentials

Today I'm uber nervous! I'm leaving for a business trip to Birmingham tomorrow afternoon and won't be home until Wednesday night, meaning I need to strategically choose which beauty products to take with me. I have a teeny tiny suitcase that I need to drag around for 3 days so it needs to be light enough to carry. Luckily I have a stash of samples which comes in incredibly handy when I'm going away! Here's what I'm taking away with me...

Skincare
My essential skincare includes Olay Eyemake-up Remover, Ginvera Exfoliating Marvel Gel and DHC Cleansing Oil. This is the perfect combination for removing my make-up and cleansing my face at the same time. I'm also taking a sample of Taylor Swift's perfumed shower gel for a quick rinse at the end of the day.

Haircare
The only haircare products I'm taking are the Percy & Reed Dry Shampoo and Conditioner. I'm only there for 2 nights so I can cope without washing my hair over that time! The dry shampoo makes my hair feel fresh and the conditioner locks in the shine. Just like washing my hair, without the effort...

Make-up
Seeing as I'm limited on space I'm taking the bare essentials, which includes Ginvera BB Cream, Benefit's The PoreFessional, Agent Zero Shine, They're Real, Hoola, my HD Brow kit, Eyeko Skinny Eyeliner plus my favourite MAC Lipstick, Faux! I'm aiming for a nude look all week to try and look somewhat professional!

I've got unlimited music on spotify, Glamour Magazine and Devoted by Hilary Duff to read on the train and at the hotel. Let's hope I don't get lost, or miss my stop! I'll hopefully have plenty of spare time to blog, but I'll have to upload those posts when I'm home! If you want to keep me company, follow me on Twitter @jadicusxo!

Benefit's The PoreFessional Agent Zero Shine Review

This year beauty cult Benefit Cosmetics released The PoreFessional Agent Zero Shine, after The PoreFessional was a huge success last year. As a huge fan of The PoreFessional I couldn't wait to try this bad boy out!

Agent Zero Shine is a loose translucent powder designed to suit any skin type and reduce shine (zero shine, duh!). Although it may appear quite dark when it is in powder form, once it hits the skin it provides a clear matte coverage, suiting all skin types and make up. I am pretty pale and I can tell you now this does not make me look orange! It blends perfectly with any make up I use, be it BB Cream, liquid foundation or matte foundation; even over blusher and bronzer! It's perfect for use when I apply too much liquid coverage and I need to look less oily, and also when it reaches the end of the day and my make up is sliding off. Sometimes I even use it on my makeup free face to give myself a natural, oil free finish. ...Gone are the days of greasy t-zones!

The packaging of Agent Zero Shine is cute and compact, perfect to fit in your handbag or make up bag, instead of lugging around larger powders and brushes! The bottom twists off, revealing a small powder brush secretly packed away. The top also twists off, revealing another twist top which allows the loose powder to escape. The lid doubles as a handy tool to empty the powder into. I swirl my brush around a few times, dusting it off in the lid and applying to my oily zones, including my T-zone, eyelids and cheekbones. Shiny patches are gone in a few strokes and I have rarely ever needed to touch up later on. It really lasts!

I carry this around religiously so I can break it out when I start to look a little oily. It's become my favourite powder, despite the price tag! It is definitely worth it the £23.50, especially as it has lasted me since January!

Have you tried The PoreFessional Agent Zero Shine yet? If not, hit your local Benefit Cosmetic Counter and give it a try!

My Top Three Favourite Hand Creams

Hand creams are one of my daily essentials; I can't go a day without applying it at least once. From painting my nails to filing paper at work, my hands are always exposed to harmful substances that cause the skin to dry and crack. In the winter I struggle a lot with dry skin so I need a good hand cream to help lock in the moisture and keep my hands nice and soft. It also helps if the hand cream smells nice too! I thought I'd share with you my top three hand creams that I absolutely couldn't live without.

I received this cream in a Glossybox and have been in love since. This cream was the perfect sidekick for my manicures as it kept my skin hydrated for hours and prevented my skin from going dry in the harsh, cold winter we had. Oh and I forgot to mention, it smelt like Terry's Chocolate Orange! That's right! It's so yummy I can't get enough of it and a bottle is only £1.95! Unfortunately it was a limited edition hand cream available around Christmas time so it's not available on the website anymore. I'm close to running out too *weeps* so I'm savouring the rest. I'm looking forward to the Cacao & Orange collection to become available again so I can stock up!

Beauty At Tori's is my local beauty salon and happens to be owned by my cousin! Tori provided a range of services (see my post here) and even has her own skincare range. One item particular being this Strawberry Creampie hand cream. Made with natural ingredients in Faversham, Kent, this hand cream is incredibly soft and smells absolutely divine, sort of like a strawberry cheesecake! It has a thick, creamy texture and once absorbed, leaves the skin feeling as soft as a baby's.  This hand cream is perfect to use for a manicure and works well as a body cream too! The smell of strawberries lingers for hours and my skin is left hydrated for just as long.  I've not had a chance to try it in the winter yet, but with its moisturising properties in this climate I'm sure it will work brilliantly. In my opinion this product is on par with Soap & Glory's Hand Food due to the texture, longevity and fragrance, and it's only £4.50!

Everyone loves Soap & Glory! Their quirky packaging and hilarious product names have made them a household name, not to mention their products are fantastic! I especially love Hand Food. I find that as I massage this cream into my hands it becomes quite watery, but it absorbs into the skin within seconds. My hands feel fully hydrated and incredibly soft without leaving behind a sticky residue like other moisturisers can do. Hand Food is made with Shea Butter, Macadamia Oil and Marshmallow, and no wonder; it smells delicious! I find that this hand cream helps to restore my skins health and the Shea Butter helps to fade any scars or marks that may appear (I get a lot of paper cuts!). During the winter months this is the perfect product to use as it helps reduce dryness, but I still use it throughout the year. At only £5 a bottle this cream is an absolute bargain! I'd still buy it if they upped the price though...

Love hand creams too? Tell me your favourites!

Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner Pen

I received the Eyeko Skinny Liquid Eyeliner Pen Mini in a Birchbox a few months ago and after using the Eyeko Lash Curler I was exited to see if this lived up to my expectations of the brand. It is so easy to use and the results are PERFECT.  Look through any recent Instagram photos of me wearing eyeliner; I'm wearing this!

I've been using eyeliner pens by L'oreal and Bombshell for about a year after a colleague introduced me to them, but I always struggled to get the flick perfect. Usually this is because the pen is too thick and too "felt-tipped" that it goes a little bit blotchy. I can never get a straight flick by using these pens and usually have to top up with another product. This can be incredibly frustrating and has resulted in my taking off all my makeup in anger!

The Eyeko eyeliner is perfect for creating a quick flick. It is thin enough to outline the shape you want and to fill it in without getting it everywhere and it creates a smooth, bold shape. I wouldn't say I've got a steady hand in the slightest but this pen is very comfortable to hold and it is easy to remove if you make a mistake, which in turn makes me feel more relaxed when using it, resulting in the perfect flick!

During the day I never have to top up my eyeliner. It lasts such a long time and never smudges unless you run a wipe across it. It's so important to me that a product is long lasting. I need something that I don't have to top up halfway through the day in the toilet at work! On the rare occasions that I go out after work, it stays put, from morning through til night. It's fantastic!

I've used my pen non-stop for a few months and it's only just starting to run low, but I will definitely  purchase another.

For just £12, it's only a little bit more than your average highstreet brand, but remember you are paying for quality! Now I've found THE eyeliner for perfect cat eyes I won't be looking back.

Wilkinson Sword Intuition Naturals Razor

Last year I received this incredible razor in a Glossybox. I usually (and stupidly) don't really care what I use to shave my legs, but this has changed my views completely!

I've never seen a razor this shape before, but here's why. The razor is surrounded with a thick soap that, as you run across your skin, creates a lather to provide ease and precision to your shave. All you need to do is add water, and means you can save a tonne on shaving foam! The razor is as light as a feather, you barely feel it on your skin, and it doesn't cut you! Despite this, it leaves you with such a close shave and, along with the moisturising effects of the soap, leaves you with soft, smooth legs!

I'm prone to ingrowing hairs with whatever razor I use, apart from when I use this one! The soap around the razor lasts a few weeks, if you shave regularly, but the razor is still going strong after all this time! I'll soon need to replace the razor/soap combo (around £7 for 3!) but at the moment it works perfectly!

For just £6.99 in store I think this is the perfect razor for every girl. It's so quick and easy to use and with the added benefit of soft, moisturised legs after use, it saves time moisturising yourself (or am I just lazy!?).

Fancy giving it a try? Buy it here!

Eyeko London Lash Curlers

I've been obsessing over these curlers for months now and thought it was about time to express my love for them. Eyeko is a brand I'd never heard of until Alexa Chung collaborated with them last year. Due to the price tag, I opted to not buy any products myself, until I received this beauty through the post.

I've never been a huge fan of using curlers as mascara is usually enough, but it's incredible the difference these make to my lashes. The soft velvet handles make for comfortable use, meaning curling your lashes is as precise as possible. It's easy to manoeuvre, without being too loose or too stiff. It also comes with a number of extra silicone rubber pads to replace as they wear out, which you don't usually get with your bog-standard curlers! And most of all, it does it's job really well!

I always heat these up with a hair dryer for a few seconds, which I find curls my lashes even more! I find with some curlers its difficult to get all of your lashes done in one go; with this, no problem! Within one squeeze all of my lashes are curled beautifully, leaving me with big bright eyes and the perfect canvas to apply my mascara! I usually go with They're Real by Benefit or L'oreal's Miss Manga!

I'm still on my first set of rubber pads as I don't use it every day, but when I do my lashes have ten times more volume and it makes applying mascara that much quicker. From my experience with these curlers I'd easily try another product from the range. Possibly a mascara to go with...

Have you tried these curlers yet?

My First Love Me Beauty Box Review

Last month I found a discount code for 10% at Love Me Beauty, so I thought I'd give one box a go! After a week, I received an email to say that some of the products from the box I chose were now out of stock, but that they would include some extra products in the box to make up for it. I was slightly annoyed but I figured I'd get some more freebies out of it!

I had heard of Love Me beauty before but what put me off at first was the fact that I could chose the box I wanted to try. That sounds daft, but hear me out! I love the element of surprise that most beauty boxes have and the fact that I could see what was in the box before ordering made me not order the box because I wasn't interested in trying the products on offer. It was only when I saw what was on offer this month that I though, "hey, that box looks bloody good!". I guess that means you can cancel your box one month if you don't like what's on offer. I wish we could do that with some subscription boxes! Let's see what I got inside shall we...

I was thinking about using these bath salts all day at work before using them. God I needed a long soak! As soon as I opened the packet it reminded me of those candy necklaces you used to get as a kid. I poured the salts into my running bath, only to look back to find flower petals floating delicately around the bath. My bathroom smelt absolutely divine and looked so relaxing! After my bath my skin smelt incredible and I also felt really soft. These salts definitely made my bath time more enjoyable and relaxing after long day at the office.

Don't you just love finding lipsticks in beauty boxes?! This was the first item that caught my eye when I opened my box. I've recently been obsessing over MAC lipsticks but I don't like to wear them at work because I feel it wastes them! Receiving a nude lipstick in a beauty box is better than receiving a more daring colour, mostly because it is more wearable. You can wear a nude lip for any occasion and I mainly like to wear nude shades at work. This has not left my side since I've had it. Glaze Pink is such a subtle shade and because of that, it makes it easier to apply. If you get it wrong, it's less noticeable! It has a long lasting, satin finish which leaves my lips feeling super soft and hydrated.
I've never heard of Lord & Berry before, but I'm definitely going to look into their other products. I love this lipstick so much!
I've tried this exact product before in a beauty box and I was in love with it! Jelly Pong Pong Eye Pencils double as an eyeshadow as well as a smooth eyeliner. You apply the pencil and smudge with your finger, leaving you with a subtle smokey eye effect. I love using these pencils when I'm on the run and want a more dramatic look but I don't have time. It's so easy to create a smokey eye with these pencils; everyone needs one of these in their makeup bag!
I love a good face mask! I used this during my long bath (with the bath salts!) and it was so refreshing! After removing my makeup, I applied this mask to my skin, focussing on my problem areas and left for 10 minutes. At first it felt very warm and I could really feel it working itself deep into my pores. Once I removed it, my face felt fresh like mint and my skin felt much firmer and cleaner. I won't need to use another face mask for a few weeks now!
After my bath I applied the Welda Sea Buckthorn Body Oil to my skin. This oil feels very refreshing on the skin and doubled with the soft, subtle orangey scent, it is just heavenly. It has a natural orange tinge to it too which makes my skin a little sunkissed. I reckon this would work wonders this the summer in helping to develop a tan! I might save it 'til then...
I've only used this toothpaste for a week, but I have found that my teeth are becoming slightly whiter and much cleaner. The mint flavour is not overwhelming like some toothpastes and leaves my mouth feeling fresh and clean for hours. My teeth are slightly stained from ten years of being a coffee addict, but my teeth are starting to lose their stains and there's mich less plaque visible.  I don't have a specific toothpaste I use, I pickup whatever is in the bathroom, but I might consider buying this and switching toothpaste completely!

I very recently reviewed the Gracie lashes but I am so glad I have another set! They are absolutely adorable. Click here to see my full review.

Overall I was really please with this Love Me Beauty box, despite the delay in shipping due to low stock of items. I have cancelled my subscription this month, but I will definitely check back monthly to chose the boxes I want!

Mac Cosmetics Up The Amp Lipstick

Yep. ANOTHER Mac Lipstick. I really have jumped on the bandwagon haven't I?! What the hell. These lipsticks are fantastic!

I've been after Up The Amp for months. It was the first shade I wanted to try but wherever I went it was always sold out. I was heartbroken. It was very quiet the other day at Bluewater so I thought I'd pop into House Of Fraser to see if they had it in stock. I was in luck! I was so excited I just ran out of the store and popped it on in the car.

What a colour! I'm a fan of purple lipsticks, but most are too dark for my skin tone and, usually, the time of year! Up The Amp is a lighter shade of purple so I can wear it any time, any day! I've worn it to work, to a Christening and even on a night out and the colour just pops! It's a great colour for when you are going for a nude eye or even just a flick of eyeliner.

As usual, this lipstick has a lovely scent and lasts hours and hours without a top up. I am absolutely in love with this shade and will never be without it!

Do you own Up The Amp? Don't you just love it?!

HD Brows Eye and Eyebrow Palette Review

Today I thought I'd review a product I've been using for about 6 months now. It's another item I got in the
Latest In Beauty Glamour Edition; The HD Brows Eye and Eyebrow Palette!

I've been in desperate need for an eyebrow palette for some time now and wasn't brave enough to go out and spend a tonne of money on a palette if it turned out to be rubbish. I used to use an eyebrow pencil, but looking back now that was a huge makeup disaster! Since using this palette for the first time I haven't gone a day without using it. It's such a fantastic kit!

These kits come in three different shades, Bombshell for fair skin and hair, Foxy for medium hair and skin and Vamp for dark hair and skin. I luckily received Foxy which suits me best as I have dark hair and fair skin. There are four different shades of powder in the palette. Each one is designed for building up colour on your brows and highlighting them with the lighter shade. Some days I go for the second darkest shade for a more natural look, but when I want a more dramatic look I build up all three browns!

The brush included is fantastic. I use the slanted brush to shape my brows and to create the arch, and I use the rounded brush for highlighting underneath to define the brow even more.

The difference between using a pencil and using a powder is this; during the day my skin gets oily and most of my makeup starts to slide off. Eyeliner is the worst, and because eyebrow pencils are basically soft eyeliners, it tends to either sink into my skin and lose it's definition, or it starts to slide off leaving a "panda-eye" effect under my brow. AWFUL I know. Powder is dry, so it tends to stay put. If it does start to fade, I just dust a little more on et voila.

The eyebrow palette also doubles as an eyeshadow pallette. I find the brushes too small for initial application so I use larger ones, but the powder works incredibly well on my lids. Again, this powder doesn't slide off during the day for me which is an added bonus. The above picture is me wearing the powder on both my eyes and my eyebrows, at least 8 hours after putting it on, with no touch ups! If I do require a touchup during the day, the small brushes are perfect to fill in the little areas that need a little more definition. The slanted brush works wonders for topping up my eyeliner flick too!

I really don't think there could be any better palette for your eyes. It has everything and comes in a perfect little compact with a mirror so you can easily top up on the go.

I believe HD Brows have now changed the packaging of the palette to include more colours, and is only £25. I think this is a bargain, as I've had it 6 months and my most used powder still hasn't run out.

If you are looking for a great eyebrow palette, this is the one for you. I will never be without it. It has become my number one essential!

Glamour's Spring Latest In Beauty Edit Review

Glamour Magazine has teamed up again with Latest In Beauty to bring us this Spring's must have goodies. The products included in this box are some that I would have never tried but am so grateful that I have. Here's why...

L'Oreal Paris Miss Manga Mascara
I've recently only stuck with my They're Real Mascara by Benefit, thinking that there would never be another mascara on par with it. Boy was I wrong. I wasn't really interested in this mascara at first, as I didn't like the results of the mascara on the adverts. However, if you apply this mascara as you would any other, it doesn't actually clump your lashes that much! After application, my lashes are longer, thicker, darker and more defined than any other mascara I've tried. It makes my eyes look wide awake, even on my worst mornings at work! For only £8.99, this mascara is a bargain and one that I will be purchasing again and again.

Daniel Sandlers Longlasting Waterproof Eyeliner
Ok, so I didn't love this product, but only for one reason. The colour. Had we received a black or a brown, I would have raved about this eyeliner forever. I applied it once to see what it would look like and I really was not confident enough to wear the colour blue. However, it does what it says on the tin. It lasted all day, and was just as colourful as when I first applied it. It didn't run like some eyeliners, giving you the panda eye! It genuinely stayed put. I put it to the test and left it on before washing my face, and it didn't budge. It only came off using eye makeup remover which proves that it really does the job. I found it for just under a tenner for the colour black, so I'm thinking of investing...

Burts Bees Beeswax Lipbalm
What a lovely product. I'm a big fan of lipbalm, and I'm constantly applying it at work instead of wasting my lipstick at the computer, so a tasty, longlasting lipbalm is essential in my makeup bag. This lipbalm is rich in vitamins and oils which help to keep your lips plump and soft. Gone are the days of chapped lips! It has quite a minty flavour which can be overpowering if you don't like mint, but I found it so yummy! When it runs out I'm definitely buying another!

Cheeky Chat Me Up Nail Paint
This is nail polish came in such a lovely colour, it's a shame that it chipped so easily! The brush was very thick and made application easy and it dried very quickly on my nails. There was a shiny finish once the nails were dry, but again, it chipped within hours, so I don't think I will purchase this product.

Invisibobble Hair Rings
AMAZING. This has completely changed the way I tied up my hair. The concept is simple, a hair tie that looks like a phone cable, in lots of funky colours. The results, AMAZING. The rings help to hold hair evenly in place and ensure that when you take down your hair there are no kinks. Literally none! When you work in an office like me, it tends to get stuffy and all you want to do is tied your hair up. I usually put it back down at the end of the day but it is just a mess after my normal hairbands get hold of it. My hair kinks so easily! With these, I can put my hair up and down as many times in a day and when i take my hair out it looks just as before. These bands don't tug on your hair either and feel very loose, even though they are holding your hair tight in place. I do sometimes suffer from headaches when I tie my hair up, but not with these. I suppose that because of how gentle these are on your hair they reduce breakage, which is fantastic as I'm trying to grow out my hair! I will definitely buy some more of these, in all different colours!

Percy and Reed Abundantly Bouncy Volumising Mousse
I've tried a couple of Percy and Reed products before and what attracts me to the brand is the cute packaging, relaxing scents and the beautiful, salon results. This mousse is no exception. I have naturally curly hair, but it does go flat at the top, so I now use this to give my locks some oomph! Unlike most mousse products, this is non-sticky, you don't even have to wash your hands afterwards. This mousse also doesn't make your hair go "crispy" which is a common issue I find with other brands. It smells fantastic and my hair never felt softer. The price is the only thing that puts me off this product, but I reckon I will buy it once it runs out. You only need to use a pea sized amount for decent results, so it won't run out any time soon!

Rituals Zensation Foaming Shower Gel
I have never used a Rituals product, but I am always in awe when I pass the store in Bluewater. I've heard rave reviews about their skincare range, and those reviews aren't wrong! You shake this can like a hair mousse and pump out a pea sized amount onto your hands. It grows and lathers into a shed load of foam that you can use on most of your body in one go. It left my skin feeling delicately soft, fresh and smelling delightful. I had many relaxing baths with this due to the scent! The bottle lasted quite a few washes, so £8.50 for a full sized bottle is well worth the money.

Out of the seven products I received, being willing to purchase six of the products is fantastic! I was so happy with this box that I am seriously considering purchasing another...

Have you tried any of these products? What were your thoughts?

The Vintage Cosmetic Company Gracie Lashes

I've been a fan of The Vintage Cosmetic Company ever since I received their Pink Tweezers and Angled Shadow Brush in Latest in Beauty boxes last summer. Since then, I have invested in a tonne of their products and added the rest to my birthday and Christmas lists. I am OBSESSED! So when I found out on Facebook that I could sign up to trialling products with my favourite brand, I just had to sign up.

Can I firstly point out how adorable The Vintage Cosmetic Company's branding is? The packaging is beautiful and it draws you eye to the product. It's definitely the first product people go for in the lash aisle at Boots (I have witnessed this with my own eyes)!

The first product I received was the Gracie Lashes. I have already tried the Betty, Connie and Nancy lashes and loved them, so I knew these wouldn't be much different. The little glue bottle included had a wand to help you apply the glue to the lashes. Using my Pink Tweezers to hold the lashes, I applied the glue and allowed to dry for about 20 seconds before I pressed them in place. Once the glue was completely dry, I only needed to apply a tiny amount of mascara et voila! Natural looking, thick, long lashes!

It took me no longer than 5 minutes to apply these lashes, from taking them out of the box to my mascara drying. Fast application is my main priority in finding a good make-up product so these are perfect for me when I'm on the go!

I wore these lashes during dinner on Valentines Day with my boyfriend, who is usually quick on the mark to spot when I'm wearing OTT lashes. However, it was only whilst writing this post that he realized that they were falsies! They don't look obviously fake but do give my eyelashes extra volume!

The Gracie Lashes have quickly become a favourite of mine and I have another set on the way! They are just so pretty and easy to apply. I am excited to try the final set of lashes from their collection, Kitty!

Have you tried any of The Vintage Cosmetic Company products? Which ones are your faves?

Mac Cosmetics Pink Nouveau Lipstick

Selfie overload! Taken from my instagram @jadicusxo

Yes, it's another MAC lipstick post! I seemed to have jumped on the bandwagon with a great big thud. Oh yes, I've purchased three colours in the past few weeks! Pink Nouveau was my second colour of choice. I've always had a vibrant pink lippy in my makeup bag, but never one that lasted this long with a finish anywhere near as good. Needless to say, my old, cheap lipsticks have gone straight in the bin.

After 20 minutes of swatching colours with my mum in Bluewater, we both agreed that Pink Nouveau suits my style and skin tone better than the other shades of pink available. This shade of pink is just bright enough to liven up my makeup without being too bright to pull off at work. The texture of this lipstick is fantastic too. It's far from sticky, yet leaves your lips feeling glossy. Plus, no matter how many cups of coffee I go through in the morning, it stays put until lunchtime! No word of a lie, I applied this lippy twice in one day and I made the colour last until I took my makeup off at night!  Oh and there's the added extra of a distinct sweet/vanilla flavour. Lush!

At just £15 each, MAC Lipsticks are becoming a well worth investment in my beauty regime. I'm surprised I've never experimented with the brand before. If you're considering purchasing a MAC lipstick, I would strongly recommend it. If you're spoilt for choice by the different colours and shades (like I usually am), ask a member of staff to assist in finding a colour that's right for you. You won't regret it!

I'm so glad that I have found a long lasting, non-sticky bright pink lipstick that not only suits my skin tone, but can suit the way I wear my make up! Now, what colour do I go for next...?

Mac Cosmetics Faux Lipstick

Today I finally lost my MAC virginity! Trust me I would have lost it sooner if I had the chance! I found out there's a MAC counter in House of Fraser in Bluewater so I thought I'd have a gander. I am a little too shy at the moment for a bold lipstick and my current nude lipstick is on it's way out, so I swatched a few neutral shades and chose Faux. This is a lovely subtle shade that will look perfect for work or a night out with the boyfriend. It also tastes fab too, something I was not expecting!

I have been wearing this lipstick for 3 hours now and it has stayed put the whole time! Like it's name, it definitely has a satin texture on my lips. It's not sticky or dry like some of the lipsticks I own. The packaging is very sleek and sophisticated too. I can't wait to add a few more shades to my collection!
